A New Evil Way to Temporarily Increase Your Blog Traffic
Recently, I’ve seen quite large number of people using an evil way to increase the traffic to their blog. What are they doing actually? It’s very simple. However this only applies if you have MyBlogLog or BlogCatalog or widgets which allows you to show the avatar of your blog visitor.
Use a Sexy Lady Avatar
Using a sexy photo of a lady as your avatar actually attracts male readers to click on the avatar because all males are generally interested and curious about sexy lady reading their blog. Look at the example below:
The sexy lady avatar is not a female but an acquaintance of mine, Alvin. This method help him to generate extra new traffic to his blog. Mr. Alvin - the author of AtomicBlogging.com, actually confirmed that it’s true this morning when I chatted with him.

So simple, isn’t it? However this is not the long term way to increase your traffic. It’s just to create curiosity for male readers to click it. One thing to remember for this to work - you need to manually visit Mybloglog members’ blog. You can periodicaly change the avatar to a different photo. This will create another round of “Avatar Traffic“.

It actually works with sexy ladies avatar. Marketing tested not only increase the traffic of blogs, but sales too.
