I GOT TAGGED by Eeleen! I have to write something this time as I believe I didn’t do the last tag she gave me.
Well, I have to write something about the meanest person in my life. I’ve been thinking of who was the meanest person in my life so far. I can’t think of anyone, to be honest. Not until I finished reading her entry about her mean aunt that I realized it was about how her aunt shape up her character and personality to be a good person she is today.
Speaking about mean, my mum is the meanest person in my life. Some of the mean things she did to me was:
- I had to wake up for school every week days myself since primary 2 without an alarm. Most of classmates and friends I know were waken up by their parents or at the very least, an alarm clock.
- She made me iron my own clothes since primary 3 even though I was not taller than the ironing board. The scar below my left thumb as a result of the burnt by the hot iron.
- Every time when I was playing with my friends nearby my home she would shout out loud calling my name to ask me go home to have lunch or dinner.I would shout back telling her that I’m not hungry. After 10 minutes at most, an angry woman (my mum) with a cane embarrassed me by chasing me back home.
- Every time when I was naughty, she nagged me from day till night. Her constant nagging almost made me crazy at that time. The worst thing happen at night. She would come into my room when I was almost asleep to make me listen to her non-stop life teachings; what’s right and what’s wrong. Having no alarm clock, I missed my bus many times and my dad would scold me before driving me to school.
- All my friends had a game console since primary school. My mum disallowed dad to buy one for me even though I beg her many times. Now, I sucks when it comes to playing games.
- I wanted a bike after I got my license at 16. Mum dismissed my idea of buying the bike I wanted. She kept telling dad that riding a bike was very dangerous. Hence, I was forced to take the old public bus to tuition classes. Many times my friends turned me down when I suggested that I ride their bike. Not to forget that I didn’t have the chance to pick up the girl I liked in secondary school on a cool modified bike.
There are a lot of more examples of things that I felt was the meanest things before I came out on my own to study in Singapore. Mum helped groom me to be the MAN I am today by using the “meanest” ways possible. Thanks Mum.
Well, I think my mum is not as mean as Eeleen’s aunt. Do you have a mean person in your life? Maybe you have one too. I’m going to take two person here and these people will have to describe who is the meanest person in their life.
So now you can read the rest of the story from Ming, EeLeen, Undertypo, May, LB, Tiuniasing, Hoshi and you (put your link and those you tag here) Let see who’s the meanest!

Damn, my mum don’t even allow me to take a bike license. So you say she mean or not??
Tiuniasing,
Wahaha…at first my mum discourage my Dad to disallow me taking bike license too. But I used my own savings to take the test. After that I passed and told her, she can’t do anything.
