Blogging Tips to Get Your Post Rank Top in Search Engine
Are you finding it hard to get your post rank top in search engine such as Google, Yahoo and MSN? Bloggers tend to forgot many of the important steps when they are blogging. So, what are the key to get your post rank top in search engine? Here are the blogging tips you should always follow to get index and rank top in search engine.
1. Article length
You should always write you article at least 500 words. This is to ensure that the readers’ experience in reading your post is satisfied. Anything shorter than that might not be good because the post might not contain enough information. Having said that, it’s does not have to be exactly 500 words +/- 5 words. Make sure that there is variation amongst your post. Some ideas needs more words to express, some need less.
2. Keyword dense
Your post should be keyword dense. Remember to place targeted keywords in your article in order to be ranked well in search engines. For instance, this post is about “Blogging Tips to Get Your Post Rank Top in Search Engine“. Then the targeted keywords are “Blogging Tips”, “Rank Top Search Engine”. Make sure that the title article has the keyword. Also, the keywords should appear in the first 20-40 words of your article and also scattered over the article. Try to include 6 to 10 times of the keywords in your article but caution not to over do it. Google does not like it.
3. Back link to own blog
Try to include at least one link back to your blog domain amongst the keywords. It helps to optimize the keywords your blog is targeting.
4. Add to Category(ies) based on your keyword
This is the same reason as to relate the keywords.
5. Add meta tags and tags to your post
Adding keywords to meta tags (description and keywords) to your post. This enhance the relevancy of your post to the keywords. Wordpress users should use meta plugins such as All in One SEO Pack or Headspace2 and tagging plugins such asUltimate Tag Warrior.

I however want to add my few cents. Don’t abuse the keywords in the meta tag. In the old SEO books, they recommends about 20 keywords, I think you should restrict your keywords in just 10.
Don’t do more than 10 keywords.
The keyword in the content should keep it under 5. 6-10 may be too much. And Bold your keyowrds if you can. Don’t use B tag. Use strong tag.
SEO is a forever non-going process.
It is good that every site owner knows some sort of information related to SEO
