Paypal opens global HQ in Singapore

The largest and most popular online payment company Paypal opened it’s international headquarters and development center in Singapore yesterday, 6th November 2007. This will effectively create more than 200 tech jobs for the IT job market in Singapore.

The HQ, at Neil Road, will serve the global market excluding US and Canada. It will serve as Paypal’s development center where products and new features for the payment service will be done.

It is predicted that the international online payment business will be bigger than its North American market by next year as more and more people goes online to make purchases and transfer money. Currently, there are more than 164 million Paypal accounts in the world with $17.4 billion in transactions in the third quarter of this year alone.

Yet again this shows that the Singapore Government has done a great job for making Singapore the number choice for many foreign companies to choose Singapore as their regional and international headquarters.

Another version is a typed version of the final installment of Harry Potter series. So you can now enjoy the fun of Harry Potter with these free downloads.
