Great news for all! Google’s OpenSocial site is finally launched.

The idea behind OpenSocial is to have one common API for multiple sites. This help to increase interaction and connectivity among different websites. What it means for developers? You’ll have less time learning to build more applications which can be commonly used. Great, isn’t it?

For developers who wants to build applications for social networking sites, this site contains the official OpenSocial API documents, developers blog, featured community gadgets, and featured videos.
