Google Web History
Have you notice Google has a new service? This new service is called Web History. Web History relies on your Toolbar’s PageRank feature to associate the web pages you visit with your Google Account.
You can sign up for this service by signing in with your existing Google Account. Once signed in with the “Remember me on this computer for Web History” check box ticked, you’ll be able to use the service without login in again.
What’s Google Web History?
Web History enables you to view and manage your web activity, get the search results most relevant to you and follow interesting trends in your web activity.
This service is especially useful when you forgot about the great and interesting website you’ve stumble upon. Web History allows you to view and search across the full text of the pages you’ve visited, including Google searches, web pages, images, videos and news stories.
Besides, when you activated Web History, your searches in Google will be more personalized because it’ll be based on what you’ve search for and what sites you’ve visited.
In addition, Web History also log the trend of web activities you did online. For instance, what’s the websites you’ve visited between 5pm till 12am? You can view all that in Google Web History.

First time login
When you first login into Web History, Google will ask you to “Enable Web History” or “Limit Web History to Searches”.
You’ll be direct to the main page of Web History after choosing you option. You’ll be able to view your history according to website, news, images, products, sponsored links, video, maps and musics.
There’s option for you to pause the logging and also remove the items you do not want to track. As you can see from the screenshot below, there’s a calendar view of your web activity. Simply click the date and you can see the list activities you made on that particular day.

Trends viewing is also available on the left side menu. Web History Trends shows you the list of your top searches, top sites and top clicks based on a number of criteria such as last 7 days and all time. It shows your activities in charts too!
It’s a great way to view your web history instead of the History in most browsers. I have started using it. Have you?
