Submit to Directories For More Blog Traffic




Previously where I share about 7 sure layman ways to increase blog rankings, I mentioned in point number 2 that you should submit your blog to RSS directories. These directories enable you to be listing and gets instant updates of your latest post. Thus, it helps you to get traffic when reader search the directories and click your links there.

Today, I’m sharing with you the list of directories I’m compiling where you can submit. Hang on tight, it’s a long list! Here we go:

  1. DMOZ - Open Directory Project is one of the largest directory. It has more that 4 millions sites listed and over 590,000 categories for you to choose from.
  2. RSS Network - categorized search engine and directory for RSS feeds, you can even search feed items for keywords.
  3. Syndic8 - find RSS and Atom news feeds on a wide variety of topics.
  4. CompleteRSS - find and subscribe to rss feeds.
  5. SEOWebDirectory - simple blog directory.
  6. RSS Feeds - rssfeeds.com search and directory.
  7. Search4RSS - search for rss feeds on specific topics.
  8. FeedPlex - search RSS or XML feeds.
  9. Feedage - a database of RSS feeds, categorized and searchable, allowing you to find the feeds that you are interested in.
  10. RSS Locator - search for RSS feeds.
  11. 2RSS - RSS feeds, RSS directory, RSS software, RSS scripts, RSS articles, RSS syndication, XML, RDF, news and more.
  12. Blogstreet - RSS directory of over 210,000 feeds.
  13. AudioFeeds.org - created to help promote the use of XML Audio Feeds as a means of distrobution in the Independent Music scene. The labels and artists generating these feeds are more interested in making great music & making it available & accessible to the fans.
  14. Feed-Directory - a complete directory of syndicated feeds.
  15. FeedCat.net - a simple public catalogue of RSS and ATOM feeds. Addition of new feeds is completely free
  16. Feeds4all - webFeeds Organized
  17. John Media - RSS, Atom, and Podcast Feed Directory
  18. RSS Network - Easily find topic specific RSS feeds by searching or navigating RSS Network’s directory
  19. BuzzBum - A community of weblogs. BuzzBum feature all types of blogs that range high traffic news blogs, all the way to small personal blogs. The main purpose of BuzzBums is so that the user can browse through all the blogs on one easily to use website.

Please note that this list will be updated periodically. I don’t want you to miss out any directories because I want you to have get the same potential of traffic from these directories.

Do come back for more in the list as I’ll be updating it weekly until I can’t find any more directories.
