Huge Technorati and Alexa Ranking Increase in 3 months

seo.jpgCrispnetworks.com was born about more than 3 months ago. Since the first day, Crispnetworks.com has been steadily going up the rankings namely Technorati Rankings and Alexa Ranking. From being ranked three million when it first started, Crispnetworks.com are proud to be standing at 368,463 now in Alexa Ranking. In Technorati, I’ve managed to increase the ranking to 16,223 and Authority Ranking of 258.

Besides, my blog is currently ranks 4,382 in Malaysia and 4,476 in Singapore. Most of my readers are from these two countries. However, my page rank stays at 0 as I believe Google has not update blogs and sites page rank yet.

Another big leap Crispnetworks.com took in Google Search ranking for the few keywords that I’m targeting. Previous, I couldn’t even get myself in top 100 when I use the keywords to search for Crispnetworks.com. But now I’m rank number 1 out of 19,400,000 for the three keywords that I’m SEO-ing now. Take a look below:

Crispnetworks.com Ranks Number 1

Not bad for a 3 months plus old blog. Better than a full time Malaysian blogger. Well, I still have a long way to go to achieve I set out for this blog.

Enough of talking about my blog’s ranking. Lets me share with you 7 sure layman ways to increase your blog rankings. No technical stuff I promise.

  1. Leverage on Ping Service

  2. Ping services allows you to automatically notify blog search engines, blogtals and blog directories. This allows your blog’s content and archives to be index on a daily basis. The list above is the ping service I used. If you are using wordpress, you can copy and paste them into your wordpress ping update services. Just log into your wordpress blog admin site. Click the options tab and then Writing. Paste the ping service list above into textarea under the Update Service header. Then click the Update Options button. Your wordpress blog will automatically updates.

  3. Submit to blog community and rss directories

  4. Submitting to these directories helps to list your blog in the directories and get valuable back links especially those high PR directories. Try these >> BlogCatalog, MyBlogLog, TopBlogList, and BlogExplosion.

  5. Comment

  6. Commenting on the same interest blogs and blogs of your interest. Be a genuine reader and commentor. Don’t go around spamming other blogs with your links. Personally, I do not like people commenting my blog with their blogs links hoping that others would click their links. I’ve deleted and edited many comments on my blog that people leave just for a link to their site in the hope of getting a click. Should always remember to post comment related to the entry you are reading. Just like how you like and appreciate your readers would comment on your blog. This helps when others read it and they might click to your blog and even become an RSS subscriber or link back to you on the entries you wrote.

  7. Sitemaps

  8. By adding a sitemap to your blog, it helps to get your blog indexed by big boys search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. Using a sitemap, your blog’s pages get higher chances being indexed. If you are using wordpress, use this Google sitemap generator plugin to build your sitemap.

  9. Links Exchange

  10. Exchange quality back links with higher rankings definitely would help to boost your rankings. The more back links you get the more your blog will be crawled by the search engines.

  11. Problematic Title, Solution Content

  12. Posting problems to the target audience rather than give the solution, the headline makes your post more powerful as it creates curiosity among those who are looking for solution. In the content, you write about the solution to the problem of the title. This way, you are targeting the audience far more specifically because you communicate to those who wants solutions. It saves them time. In addition, you are telling your readers that you are an expert in the area you blog.

  13. Participate in Discussion in Forums

  14. Many bloggers do not focus much on forums. Participating in a popular forums related to your blog’s interest will definitely increase your creditability as someone who is expert on the topics you sharing your ideas and opinions. As a result, readers will click through your forum signature to come to your blog and become your loyal readers.

Congatulations on your ranking updates. That is very good for you as I’m a full time blogger but my blog’s technorati ranking is not that great. Anyway this is great for your blog to increase traffic ranking, page ranking and also technorati ranking.

Thanks Etienne. Btw, that’s not favo…it’s technorati authority. Meaning the number of back links. I only have 2 hits for the favo. Hehehe…
