Web Hosting Database Down for more than 3 hours
This afternoon Crispnetworks’ web hosting database was down for about an hour starting at around 2pm. After discovering that my Crispnetworks was down, I quickly contact my web hosting provider Shijiru through online support to resolve the problem.
The problem was solved in 3 hours. It is an acceptable time frame as I’m not as active as previously blogging at Crispnetworks due to my work. But previous time was take off my blog. Hopefully any similar problem can be resolved within an hour.
Anyway, thanks for the job done to team Shinjiru.
Currently, the best deal I’ve seen is the hosting services by Exabytes. Which web hosting provider are you using? Hope to get some ideas when I need to purchase new hosting for my other blogs.

I’m currently hosting my blog with dreamhost. Sign up Crazy Domain Insane package which comes with 145.6GB disk, 1.374TB.
The thing I like about Dreamhost is that they will increase your bandwidth and disk space weekly. This is something which other hosting company are not doing. With this, I can just host all my images without fear of taking up too much of my bandwidth.
Their tech support is superb. My tech support mails are usually answered within an hour. 2 thumbs up for them.
If you are signing up, you can use this promo code ESC97 to get $97 discount on the package. There’s even a 97 days money back guarantee if you don’t like the hosting package after getting it.
Wow…weekly increase. This sounds like what’s google is doing.
Hmm…dreamhost. Maybe I should put this into my consideration too.
What is stopping you from using Exabytes instead of Shinjiru? You can switch anytime right? I switched to Exabytes last year. The previous host was giving me one too many problems. Exabytes does has it quirks as well. Don’t you think?
Nono…i meant I’m thinking of switching to Exabyte. Currently i’m with Shinjiru. Every hosting company has its quirks. But i tend to look at the overall package they offer.
I personally prefer IPServerOne for my personal blog which my current company use Exabytes service. Compare both, I would probably opt to IPServerOne because of their high up-time. There are downtime in both services but there are months where IPServerOne manage to maintain 100% uptime (30 minutes interval between check - http://www.siteuptime.com) but I can’t say the same for Exabytes
Hey there. That sucks. Blogger’s been down for several times this month. I’m considering moving my blog to a paid hosting.
Cheers and goodluck to your blog!

You should have done it earlier.
Yeah, I’ve heard about blogger was down many times this month from other bloggers.
Google doing some updates?
Hye! I’m a Shinjiru user too. If I were you, I will stay. Why? How long you have been with shinjiru? because of 1 mistake you want to change to new hosting? Secondly, If I’ve trouble with my server, I just only need to ask from Live Support, I don’t need to submit a system ticket. Exabytes offer a good bandwidth connection but I’m not so sure about the technical support.
That all from me
i can’t bear my blog down. and it was down for 1 day when my traffic was high on one lucky day and intermitent down at some other days. it really pissed me off very much. i’ll definitely switch hosting soon.
