Wordpress Tips - Activate WYSIWYG hidden functions



Do you know that there’s hidden formatting functions in your WYSIWYG editor in Wordpress? It is actually built-in in Wordpress 2. Normally your Wordpress visual editor would look like this:

However, it can look like that:

What are the hidden formatting functions? Here’s the list:
* Format
* Underline
* Font Colour
* Paste as plain text
* Paste from Word
* Remove Formating
* Cleanup Messy code
* Insert Custom Character
* Undo
* Redo

All you need to do is to press Alt key + Shift key + V on your keyboard when you are using your Wordpress Visual editor. Make sure your visual editor is enable.

I did a search on the alt v, most people said that

Firefox - alt shift v
IE - alt v

but I tried and alt v works for both ie and firefox. weird

Hmm…I can only activate it by using the Alt Shift V on both. Btw, I’m using IE7. I’m not sure about older IE versions.

Of course. If not I wouldn’t switch from blogger to wordpress.
